Myrtle the Purple Turtle returns with another great adventure! Myrtle and her friends are turned away when they try to join in a game with others. The friends walk away, feeling hurt, but that’s just the start of the story. Find out how Myrtle, Gertie, Hurtle and Snapper solve the problem, in this second picture book about Myrtle the Purple Turtle. A perfect book for children ages 3 to 8 (and adults who like turtles), it follows Myrtle the Purple Turtle — a bestseller, praised by thousands of children and adults, teachers and librarians around the world.
Review: Wow! What a fabulous story! When I read and reviewed Myrtle The Purple Turtle, (book one of the Myrtle series) I was really touched by the message of how it’s okay to be different and to love yourself as you are. It’s a very important for young children to learn and accept this concept.
Myrtle’s Game not only reinforces self and social acceptance, it also promotes abilities and to keep trying. It is all too easy for children to give up on things when feeling discouraged.
I love the presentation of this work. It’s colourful, attractive… the illustrations are amazing, and it’s a great fun children’s book to read. I highly recommend to anyone who has young children.
Thank you Gallivanta!

Oh, wow, Kevin. You wonderfully sneaky reviewer: I had no idea you were reading the book. Huge thanks from Lauren Reyes-Grange, my co-author, and Jo, our illustrator, and me. Jo has sent us some illustrations for the upcoming Myrtle book, and we are thrilled. Will share soon. Meantime: thank you, Sir!
